Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing flexibility in how you conduct your assessments and counseling sessions. In this unique role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with educators and school staff to ensure a holistic approach to each student's well-being. You will primarily operate Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate clients' needs outside of standard hours, including occasional evenings or weekends. This role requires a strong commitment to accessibility, as you may need to offer on-call support for urgent situations.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' psychosocial needs by taking into account their emotional, mental, and social circumstances to inform intervention strategies.

• Collaborate closely with students, their families, and school personnel to create personalized care plans that align with individual goals and preferences.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions, focusing on key issues such as anxiety, depression, and life transitions while equipping students with coping strategies.

• Advocate for students' rights and facilitate access to community resources, ensuring they receive the support they need both within and outside the educational setting.

• Engage with interdisciplinary teams—including school nurses, teachers, and parents—to ensure integrated care approaches that support each student's holistic needs.

• Monitor students' progress through regular check-ins, ensuring any concerns regarding safety or emotional well-being are promptly addressed.

• Educate families about available community resources that can further enhance social engagement and quality of life, focusing on building connections to local support services.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of assessments, care plans, progress notes, and any relevant interactions through our electronic health record (EHR) system.

The primary focus of this role involves working with school-aged children and adolescents, connecting with their families to provide guidance during challenging times. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, ensuring a robust foundation in social work principles and practices.

• Current and valid state licensure as an Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to practice within Washington State.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to USD 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
