Some main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Running a saw daily, cutting rods to specifications to create fastening solutionsEnsuring parts are machined to customer specificationsOperating the machine independently while inspecting product quality, measuring and adjusting parts, sharpening tools, and retrieving/handling rods for cuttingOccasional scissors lifting to retain rod, making sure to follow safety standardsMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent1+ years of experience in manual, hands-on mechanical and machining skillsPrefer experience with scissors lifts or high comfort-level being trainedAttention to detail and quality - meeting specs consistentlyComfortable handling material and loading machinesWorkload at machines has some seasonality to it, so willingness to work in any area of production and take on any task neededComfort and ability to work on computers - entering and retrieving informationAbility to safely climb step ladders while carrying heavy productAbility to lift 50 pounds regularlyComprehensive Benefits:Medical, voluntary dental and vision insuranceLife and disability insurancePaid vacation, PTO, and paid holidays off!Steady hours with no weekendsA clean, organized, and safety-first warehouse environmentReady to Apply?Do you enjoy manual machining?
