Buyer Job Number 261986 Shift 1st Shift (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.) Job Overview Schneider is seeking a Buyer in Green Bay to timely and cost-effectively source goods and services for departments throughout the enterprise. The Buyer will be accountable for the purchasing requisitions queue and the creation of purchase orders and service contracts. Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and internal customers. Understand internal customers’ needs and expectations to provide the best value solutions. Qualify potential suppliers by using Schneider’s policies and procedures. Evaluate financial impacts and risks when developing contractual agreements. Help solve problems between suppliers and internal customers. Research and evaluate products and services to find the best solutions for the enterprise. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain or a related field. 1-2 years of purchasing, finance or project management experience.
