Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, with the flexibility to work from home and engage in telehealth sessions. You will have periodic interactions in a climate-controlled office setting to collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and participate in meetings essential for patient care. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, utilizing the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to accurately diagnose when necessary and to develop individualized treatment plans.

• Provide ongoing evaluations and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress, employing evidence-based interventions that align with their unique mental health diagnoses.

• Maintain accurate and timely records of treatment, decisions, and interactions in accordance with regulatory requirements and department policies using state-of-the-art technology.

• Collaborate effectively with patients, families, and other health care professionals to formulate a holistic treatment strategy that encompasses the cultural, emotional, and social needs of the patient.

• Develop and implement measurable treatment objectives that proactively address patient safety, symptom management, and overall well-being.

• Serve as a critical liaison between patients and referral sources, coordinating external resources and services to enhance the continuity of care.

• Participate in educational initiatives, mentoring students, interns, and volunteers, thus contributing to the professional development of future mental health practitioners.

• Engage in peer review and clinical collaboration under the supervision of senior staff to enhance the quality of care provided by the team.

Qualifications\n
