Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to identify clients' mental health issues, which involves exploring their personal history, current challenges, and therapeutic goals.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other modalities suited to individual client needs.

• Provide individual therapy sessions alongside group and family therapy when appropriate, ensuring a comprehensive client experience that fosters connection and community.

• Respond to crises and provide immediate support to clients in acute mental health distress, employing decisive intervention strategies to ensure client safety.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and assessment findings, in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare professionals to offer holistic and coordinated care to clients.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health resources, treatment modalities, and community support services, while advocating for clients' rights and needs.

• Participate in continuous professional development activities and training workshops to enhance your therapeutic skills and knowledge of current best practices.

Qualifications\n

• Current and valid state licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW is preferred).

Compensation and Benefits\n
