Tax Accountant/Client Manager

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.
Manage client relationships and communicate tax matters clearly and professionally.
Prepare supporting tax workpapers and ensure compliance with current tax regulations.
Research complex tax issues and identify tax-saving and risk-mitigation opportunities.
Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations.
Manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlines with accuracy.
Use CCH, Engagement, QuickBooks Online/Desktop, and other accounting tools.

Qualifications:

CPA license in Delaware preferred/required; candidates actively pursuing CPA certification may be considered.
5+ years of tax accounting experience preferred; candidates with less experience who are actively pursuing their CPA will be considered.
Strong experience preparing individual and business/corporate tax returns.
Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Desktop; CCH/Engagement experience is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
