Remote Accountant

Working remotely as a full-time Accountant, the successful candidate will partner with the Controller to manage month-end close processes, ensure the integrity of the general ledger, and support compliance tasks while handling vendor interactions and financial reporting. Key responsibilities: Collaborate with the Controller to enhance month-end processes and prepare necessary journal entries and adjustments Reconcile general ledger accounts, identify discrepancies, and maintain accurate financial reporting Process vendor invoices and employee reimbursements while ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards Required qualifications: 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a high-growth or startup environment Solid understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles Experience with payroll processing and accounts payable workflows Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or NetSuite CPA candidate or bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
