HSR Mid/Senior Associate

Paul Hastings’ Antitrust and Competition team is seeking an Associate with at least four years of experience to join their group in DC. Responsibilities Act as Legal Counsel (Antitrust/Compliance): conduct antitrust analysis and advise clients on pre‑merger antitrust considerations, determine whether a transaction meets HSR filing requirements. Work closely with the M&A Practice Group to oversee the transaction from inception, gather information, and assist with due diligence precautions and integration planning. Prepare and file the HSR Form, ensuring accuracy, and advise on strategic rationale, competitive overlaps, and supply relationships. Coordinate with external counsel with respect to HSR filings. Requirements: at least 4 years of experience in U.S. antitrust law, extensive familiarity with the Hart‑Scott‑Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act, and admission (or eligibility) to the bar in the jurisdiction where located. The position is largely based in D.C.; candidates in other cities will be considered. Salary: $310,000–$435,000 annually, depending on experience and other relevant factors.
