Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct family and couple therapy sessions effectively, using evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a wide range of issues, including alcohol abuse, grief, conflicts, and communication difficulties.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that gather input from all family members, ensuring a holistic approach to healing.

• Facilitate therapy for blended families or those experiencing crises such as separation and divorce.

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients’ emotional and relational functioning to inform treatment decisions.

• Document progress notes in compliance with clinic policies and third-party payer requirements, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training initiatives to enhance your skills and adopt the latest practices in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic serves a diverse population including adults, adolescents, children, and families navigating various challenges such as grief, adjustment issues, divorce, and relationship conflicts. Therapists will be expected to develop empathy-based relationships with clients, providing a safe space for them to express their feelings, and guiding them toward achieving healthier dynamics within their families.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Illinois.

Compensation and Benefits\n
