Role Overview: As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Home Helpers, you will be responsible for delivering compassionate care to our clients in their homes. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our care team to ensure the highest standards of care and support for individuals seeking to maintain their independence. Whether you work on-site, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of the clients you serve. Key Responsibilities: Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Offer companion care and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities. Remind clients to take medications as scheduled and assist with medication management. Prepare meals as per dietary guidelines and assist clients during mealtime. Maintain a clean and safe living environment through light housekeeping tasks. Provide transportation assistance to medical appointments and other outings. Support family caregivers through respite care to help manage caregiving responsibilities. Qualifications: You're a great fit if you have the following skills. A valid CNA certification. Experience providing personal care in a home care setting, preferably with seniors or veterans. Excellent communication skills, particularly in English. Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate nature. Reliability and a commitment to providing quality care. Bonus If You: Have prior experience in home care or a similar health care setting. Possess specialized training or skills related to caring for veterans. Employment Type & Availability: This is a Part-Time position with availability required on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday.
