Must-Have: Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification (BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R or equivalent or RCIS required; RCES preferred)

Description: The Electrophysiology Department averages 15-20 cases per day. Patients typically present with cardiac arrhythmias. RNs must possess strong technical skills including scrubbing, circulating, and documentation. Experience with sterile technique, airway management during nurse-led sedation, and hemodynamic monitoring is essential. RNs should also be proficient in the use of CARTO, advanced arrhythmia management, and defibrillator threshold testing. Moderate sedation skills and the ability to manage isuprel drips and cardioversions are required. The department fosters a patient-focused, team-oriented culture that emphasizes excellence. Team members will work alongside physicians, fellows, and leadership in a collaborative environment. Weekend rotation is required, working 3-4 Saturdays in an 8-10 week period. Scheduling will consist of 10-hour shifts on weekdays, with the potential for late days as needed. The department observes certain holidays, including closures on select national holidays. Scrub uniforms will be provided by the facility, with a preference for surgical green attire. The environment is inclusive and geared towards education and professional development.
