Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Full Time Security Clearance Patrol in Arlington, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a leading aerospace and defense location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide professional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $28.33 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon04:00 PM - 11:59 PMTue04:00 PM - 11:59 PMWed04:00 PM - 11:59 PMFri04:00 PM - 11:59 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions and security-related concerns. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols. Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and help to deter unauthorized entry or prohibited activities. Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, site policies, and Allied Universal procedures, and complete accurate activity and incident reports. Minimum Requirements: Possess an Armed Guard Card or License. Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance. Pepper Spray Certification is preferred. Handcuffing Certification is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
