Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician

We are seeking qualified candidates for a 13-week assignment as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician. Shifts will be 3-12 hours after the first week of training. Candidates must rotate weekends, typically every 5th weekend, with no call required. There may be opportunities to fill Thursday night shifts and pick up vacancies if not covered by regular staff. Holidays may be required on a rotating basis. The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts within 12 weeks.

Must have graduated from an approved program. Proficient in phlebotomy. Ability to perform Blood Bank testing. Experience in Microbiology preferred. Experience with gram stains, planting cultures, and blood cultures is essential. Knowledge of Covid regulations including PPE and isolation rooms. Ability to multitask and prioritize. Ability to work independently. Effective communication skills.
