Lincoln, ME | ️ 13 Weeks | ⏱️ 36 hrs/week | ☀️ Days (3x12)

Seeking an experienced Medical Technologist (MT) / Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for a Critical Access Hospital. The ideal candidate will have strong generalist laboratory experience, be comfortable working independently, and excel in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform laboratory testing across multiple disciplines, including Blood Bank, Hematology, Chemistry, and Microbiology
Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection
Conduct blood bank testing and ensure accurate result reporting
Process gram stains, blood cultures, and culture plating
Follow infection prevention and COVID-19 protocols
Prioritize workload, multitask efficiently, and work independently when needed
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the healthcare team

Requirements:

Graduate of an approved Medical Laboratory Technology program
Minimum 2 years of MT/MLT experience
ASCP or AMT Certification
Active BLS Certification
Strong Blood Bank and phlebotomy experience required
Microbiology experience preferred (gram stains, blood cultures, culture plating)
Ability to work independently in a Critical Access Hospital setting

Assignment Details:

Day Shift (3x12)
36 hours per week
Rotating weekends (approximately every 5th weekend)
No call
Holiday rotation as needed
EMR: CPSI/Evident
