Work Environment\n

The position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting through telehealth, allowing you to deliver services from your own home while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility needed to accommodate the diverse schedules of our patient population. As part of a telehealth-focused organization, you will leverage technology to conduct virtual assessments, therapy sessions, and follow-ups, ensuring that care remains accessible and convenient for all clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand each patient’s unique experiences and backgrounds.

• Offer crisis intervention support when needed, ensuring that patients have immediate access to help during mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources tailored to their needs.

• Maintain detailed and accurate patient documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and data security.

• Engage in regular case conferences and team meetings to deepen therapeutic approaches and enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice specializes in treating individuals from a wide array of backgrounds, emphasizing inclusivity and cultural responsiveness in our therapeutic approaches. You will work with patients ranging from children to adults, including those identifying as part of the LGBTQ+ community, ethnic and cultural minorities, and various vulnerable populations. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.

• A strong understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based practices, and culturally competent therapeutic techniques.

• Demonstrated experience and skill in conducting individual and group therapy, with a focus on inclusivity.

• Strong crisis intervention skills and the capability to manage challenging situations with professionalism.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to build rapport with a diverse clientele effectively.

• Competence in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital tools used in telehealth.

• A steadfast commitment to ethical practices, professional boundaries, and patient confidentiality.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Thrive Wellness Counseling Services offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
