This full-time position allows for a supportive remote work setting dedicated to providing high-quality mental health care. Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in meeting the needs of our clients while fostering a balanced work-life environment. Our practice operates from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with opportunities for some scheduling flexibility to accommodate patient appointments. We maintain a collaborative and inclusive virtual atmosphere where team members can easily communicate and share insights.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that consider patients' diverse backgrounds, incorporating culturally relevant factors into treatment planning.

• Implement a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, ensuring they are tailored to each individual's cultural context and personal experiences.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing a range of modalities to effectively address patients’ mental health challenges.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide comprehensive care tailored to patient needs.

• Deliver crisis intervention services and develop safety plans for clients facing mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and available community resources to enhance their support systems.

• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations, ensuring confidentiality and meticulous patient record management.

• Engage actively in case management meetings, interdisciplinary discussions, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

• Stay up to date with the latest research and best practices in mental health therapy, particularly those affecting culturally diverse populations.

Our clients reflect the rich diversity of the Chandler community, including individuals from ethnic minority groups, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and immigrants who often encounter unique mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) in the state of Arizona.

• A thorough understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment strategies, coupled with an emphasis on cultural competence in therapy.

• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy that reflects a culturally responsive practice.
\n
• Strong crisis intervention skills with an ability to navigate potentially high-stress situations calmly and effectively.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities to foster strong therapeutic alliances with a diverse clientele.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications to document patient interactions efficiently.

• A commitment to uphold professional boundaries, ethical guidelines, and patient confidentiality.

• Experience collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and therapeutic outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
