Key Responsibilities\n

  Perform comprehensive assessments and screenings to identify mental health concerns among students and develop personalized treatment plans that align with their academic and social needs.

  Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to promote student resilience and coping skills.

  Foster collaboration with educational staff, including teachers and administrators, to integrate mental health support within academic environments effectively.

  Engage with the families of students, providing education and resources that encourage their involvement in the therapeutic process, thus bridging gaps in support.

  Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with state laws and organizational policy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Serving a diverse population of students from various backgrounds, this role requires sensitivity to a range of cultural and socio-economic challenges. You will address a broad spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral problems, tailoring your approach to each individual’s unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

  A current and valid professional license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

  A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field, with advanced training or a Master’s degree is preferred.

  Minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health counseling, particularly with children and adolescents in academic settings is strongly preferred.

  The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 60,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
