Work Environment\n

This role offers a unique remote working environment focused on reaching students in their school settings. While the position is full-time, with a standard schedule of Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, there is flexibility required to meet the needs of our diverse student population. Each therapist plays a fundamental role in the integrative care model of the organization, collaborating with educators and other support staff while delivering personalized treatment plans based on individual assessments.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough mental health assessments to pinpoint the specific needs and challenges of each student, developing tailored treatment strategies accordingly.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to provide effective intervention both individually and in group settings.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups to create a community feel among students and to empower them with coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators and school administrators, ensuring cohesive care and support for students facing mental health crises.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, guiding students through their most challenging moments.
\n
• Educate students and their families on mental health conditions, available resources, and coping mechanisms in an approachable and supportive manner.
\n
• Maintain precise and confidential records, adhering to HIPAA regulations and best practices in ethical documentation and client management.
\n
• Participate actively in regular team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to continuously enhance your therapeutic skills.

• Stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health techniques and research, integrating new knowledge into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with children and adolescents, helping them navigate mental health challenges while engaging with parents and guardians to ensure a holistic support system. You will adapt therapies to resonate with the diverse cultural backgrounds and unique challenges present in Quincy, ensuring that every client receives personalized care tailored to their individual circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Massachusetts.
\n
• Proven expertise in mental health assessment, treatment planning, and the execution of therapeutic modalities.
\n
• Experience with both individual therapy and group settings, displaying an ability to connect with a wide range of clients.

• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with both clients and team members.
\n
• Strong ethical grounding, maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality.
\n
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience working in mental health settings, particularly with youth.

• Previous experience in school-based therapy programs or familiarity with the school system is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
