Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations tailored to identify the unique mental health needs of students. These evaluations will guide the development of effective and individualized treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and group counseling, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and solution-focused techniques to address various emotional and behavioral issues.

• Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings with case managers, teachers, and school administrators to ensure integrated and coordinated care for our students.

• Deliver crisis intervention services, utilizing your expertise and compassion to de-escalate challenging situations and support students in emotional distress.

• Engage in community outreach efforts and educational workshops to elevate mental health awareness, reduce stigma, and promote resilience among students and their families.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary client population consists of students within educational settings, ranging from elementary to high school age. You will have the privilege of working with diverse cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds, providing tailored approaches to meet each student's needs. Your expertise will help students navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral issues, and family dynamics.

Qualifications\n

• An independent and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) , Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) , Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) , or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .

• A master's degree or a doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and facilitate therapeutic relationships with students and their families.

• Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity to effectively address the needs of a diverse student population.

• Effective organizational and time-management abilities to maintain accurate and timely documentation, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Experience working in a school or educational setting, preferably involving direct counseling with children and adolescents.
