This role works closely with project managers and project teams to ensure accurate financial records, compliance with company policies and procedures, and timely completion of assigned accounting projects.What You'll DoPerform routine equipment transaction accounting duties for various entitiesApprove equipment work order invoices and ensure accurate general ledger postingReview and confirm weekly payroll for the Equipment DepartmentMaintain accurate equipment listings and update related activity in accounting systemsAnalyze monthly equipment costs and investigate variancesEvaluate equipment data and ensure compliance with company policies and proceduresPrepare quarterly fuel reports with supporting documentationCoordinate with yard managers and project teams to reconcile on-site physical equipment with financial ledger dataPerform ad hoc accounting projects as assignedWhat We're Looking For2+ years of accounting experience in a construction, equipment, fleet, manufacturing, logistics, or heavy operations environmentBachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with strong Excel skills preferredWorking knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) preferredSAP experience preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProfessional, positive, and approachable demeanorCollaborative team player who works effectively with othersConfident, proactive, and comfortable taking initiativeWillingness to take a hands-on approach and support the team in achieving shared goalsThis job summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by individuals assigned to this position.
