Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitating Group Therapy: Conduct engaging and therapeutic group sessions that encourage clients to share experiences, foster connections, and learn from one another.

• Individual Therapy: Provide one-on-one counseling sessions tailored to the individual needs of clients, helping them explore and address their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop personalized, goal-oriented treatment plans that effectively target their specific mental health challenges.

• Progress Monitoring: Utilize various assessment tools and continuous feedback methods to evaluate client progress and adjust treatment approaches as necessary.

• Multidisciplinary Team Collaboration: Work closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care, including regular communication, case coordination, and consulting on complex cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role is focused on young adults aged 18 to 30 who participate in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). Clients may present with a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional difficulties. You will be instrumental in providing compassionate support that empowers these individuals to overcome obstacles and achieve meaningful recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

• A valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification in Texas.
\n
• Proven knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and approaches.

• Familiarity with PHP programs and experience working with young adults is a plus.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of experience providing counseling services in an outpatient or community mental health setting.

• Experience facilitating group therapy for young adults is preferred.

• Experience with electronic health record systems and teletherapy tools.
