Facilities Custodian Professional
Location: Birmingham, AL Contract- 1 Year Client- Alabama Power
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Facilities Custodian Professional to maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment across our buildings and grounds. This role involves a variety of janitorial, minor maintenance, and groundskeeping duties, contributing to the overall functionality and appearance of our facilities.

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Facilities Custodian Professional to maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment across our buildings and grounds. This role involves a variety of janitorial, minor maintenance, and groundskeeping duties, contributing to the overall functionality and appearance of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing as needed
- Empty and clean trash receptacles; collect and sort recyclables
- Clean, sanitize, and restock supplies in restrooms
- Service and maintain custodial equipment
- Perform minor repairs to buildings, furniture, and equipment
- Identify and report safety, sanitary, and fire hazards
- Lock/unlock doors, windows, and gates as needed
- Keep grounds areas clean and orderly
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous custodial or groundskeeping experience preferred
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Physically able to bend, squat, kneel, twist , and climb ladders
- Familiar with custodial tools, techniques, materials, and equipment care
- Comfortable working from heights or elevated surfaces when needed.
