Accounts Receivable Clerk

This is a great opportunity for a finance professional who thrives in a high-volume environment and excels at maintaining flawless transactional records and cash applications. If you bring solid accounts receivable experience, strong organizational habits, and a proactive approach to customer account management and collections, we want to hear from you. salary: $52,000 - $60,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8:30 AM - 5 PM education: High School Responsibilities Cash Application: Accurately apply daily cash receipts, checks, ACH payments, and credit card transactions to appropriate customer accounts. Invoicing & Billing: Generate and distribute accurate customer invoices, credit memos, and account statements according to designated billing schedules and payment terms. Collections & Portfolio Monitoring: Monitor aging AR reports, make routine collection outreach calls or emails, and maintain professional relationships with customers to ensure timely payments. Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve customer billing inquiries, short payments, unapplied deductions, and payment variances in a timely manner. Account Reconciliation: Perform regular balance reconciliations for customer accounts and assist the finance team with month-end close schedules.
