Business Development Specialist

Company Description JOADEM Corporation provides comprehensive construction special inspections and quality control services in accordance with codes and contract documents. Based in the NYC Metro Area, the company supports both new and existing buildings, including projects with complex and unique structural systems. The multidisciplinary team includes engineers, architects, inspectors, NDT professionals, and construction managers with broad experience across buildings, civil works, and airport infrastructure. JOADEM delivers a wide range of quality control and assurance testing and inspections at various construction stages to help clients achieve safe, compliant, and successful projects. Role Description The Business Development Specialist is a full-time, on-site role located in Elmont, NY. This role focuses on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including generating leads, building a robust sales pipeline, and nurturing relationships with current and prospective clients. The specialist conducts market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning, and uses these insights to support strategic growth initiatives. Day-to-day activities include preparing proposals, coordinating client meetings, maintaining accurate CRM records, and collaborating with technical and project teams to align services with client expectations. The role also involves representing JOADEM at industry events, following up on inquiries, and contributing to continuous improvement of business development processes. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Market Research abilities to assess opportunities, interpret data, and support strategic decision-making. Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to engage clients, present solutions clearly, and maintain long‑term relationships. Experience in the Special Inspction Industry at Management level especially in the NYC Metro area will be a PLUS Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and basic sales reporting is beneficial. #J-18808-Ljbffr
