TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Albany, Georgia, 31701!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 17 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS Must-Have: 2 years of experience and 1 travel assignment; no first-time travelers Description: This role requires a registered nurse with experience in a medical surgical setting. The unit has a total of 44 beds. Staffing includes approximately 40 individuals. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5, possibly 1:6 for both day and night shifts. Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred but not required. Weekend shifts will be scheduled every other weekend. Holiday shifts will be needed as required. Nurse aides and certified nursing assistants are available on the unit. The unit may require floating to acute care and cardiac units as needed. There will be a general orientation lasting one week. This role involves working in an acute care environment.
