Overview Outside Sales Representative – Pro Audio, Commercial AV & Music Instruments (Mid-Atlantic Region, Independent Contractor) Expand Your Sales. Grow Your Territory. Build Long-Term Relationships. Streetwise Sales is seeking an independent sales representative to develop and grow our Mid-Atlantic territory. This is a part-time, contract-based opportunity designed for someone who wants to build a long-term income stream through territory development, dealer relationships, demonstrations, and sales growth. This is not a traditional salaried position. Success in this role is directly tied to activity, relationship-building, and the ability to create opportunities within the territory. The ideal candidate has experience in Pro Audio, Commercial AV, Musical Instruments, Lighting, Production, or related industries and enjoys working directly with customers in the field. What You’ll Do Develop and expand relationships with MI retailers, Pro Audio dealers, AV integrators, production companies, rental houses, and houses of worship Conduct product demonstrations, trainings, and sales presentations Visit existing and prospective customers throughout the territory Execute merchandising and training visits at selected Guitar Center locations Develop new business through phone outreach, email campaigns, networking, and in-person visits Identify project opportunities and specification opportunities Present new products, promotions, and dealer programs Maintain all customer activity and follow-up within CRM Minimum Activity Requirements Complete 10-15 in-person customer visits, demonstrations, trainings, or merchandising visits per month Submit visit reports and photos for completed field activities Maintain CRM activity records Conduct regular outbound prospecting and follow-up Participate in scheduled team and manufacturer meetings What We Provide Compensation for each approved customer visit, demonstration, training, or merchandising stop with required report and photos submitted Sales commissions CRM access and sales tools Product training and manufacturer support Demo units and sample loan opportunities Back-office support for order processing and customer service Representatives completing the expected minimum 15 monthly field visits can generate at least $1,500 per month in activity compensation while building their commission income. Who You Are Experienced in Pro Audio, Commercial AV, Musical Instruments, Lighting, DJ, or related industries Comfortable conducting product demonstrations and customer presentations Self-motivated and capable of working independently Strong relationship builder and communicator Organized and comfortable managing a sales pipeline Willing to travel throughout the territory Previous manufacturers’ representative experience is a major plus Why Join Streetwise Sales?
