Position Overview Tree Top Staffing is partnering with a rapidly growing food manufacturing organization to identify an experienced Bilingual High-Volume Recruiter for a three-month contract engagement. This position was created to support the rapid expansion of a new production operation and high-volume hiring efforts associated with a planned workforce expansion of more than 100 hourly manufacturing employees across multiple shifts. This is a hands-on, full-cycle recruiting role, not a recruiting coordinator position. The Bilingual High-Volume Recruiter will independently drive recruiting activity while partnering directly with hiring managers, operations leaders, and the HR team. The successful candidate must be able to work with urgency, maintain an organized and responsive hiring process, and manage candidates from initial sourcing through offer and onboarding coordination. The recruiter will primarily support the organization’s Broadview-area facility, with occasional travel to other nearby manufacturing locations. An onsite presence approximately two to three days per week is important for understanding production needs, building relationships with hiring managers, conducting interviews, and supporting onsite hiring initiatives. Onsite days may vary based on hiring volume, interviews, events, and operational priorities. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruiting for high-volume hourly manufacturing, production, packaging, sanitation, warehouse, and related positions across multiple shifts Support high-volume hiring efforts associated with the expansion of the organization’s manufacturing workforce Source, screen, interview, evaluate, and recommend qualified candidates in a fast-paced hiring environment Conduct interviews and candidate communications fluently in both English and Spanish Partner with hiring managers and operations leaders to understand staffing needs, position requirements, shift schedules, and hiring priorities Develop and maintain qualified candidate pipelines for current and anticipated workforce needs Manage multiple open requisitions and candidate pipelines while maintaining urgency, accuracy, and consistent follow-through Coordinate interviews, candidate feedback, offers, pre-employment requirements, onboarding activities, and candidate communications Utilize job boards, employee referrals, community organizations, workforce development programs, hiring events, career fairs, social media, networking, and other sourcing channels Proactively identify and engage qualified active and passive candidates Maintain accurate candidate records, applicant tracking information, recruiting activity, and hiring metrics Provide hiring managers and HR leadership with timely updates regarding candidate pipelines, hiring progress, challenges, and anticipated staffing needs Deliver a professional, responsive, and respectful candidate experience throughout the recruiting process Identify recruiting bottlenecks and recommend practical improvements to increase candidate flow and hiring efficiency Collaborate with the HR team on workforce planning, recruiting processes, onboarding coordination, and related hiring initiatives Support onsite interviews, hiring events, job fairs, and community recruiting initiatives as needed Maintain confidentiality and ensure recruiting practices align with company policies and applicable employment requirements Required Qualifications Fluency in English and Spanish, including the ability to speak, read, and write effectively in both languages At least three years of full-cycle recruiting experience Proven success recruiting high volumes of hourly manufacturing, production, warehouse, distribution, or industrial employees Experience partnering with hiring managers in a fast-paced manufacturing, production, warehouse, or distribution environment Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple open requisitions and candidate pipelines simultaneously Strong candidate sourcing, interviewing, evaluation, and closing skills Experience using applicant tracking systems, Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and other candidate sourcing platforms Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to prioritize effectively, adapt to changing hiring needs, and work with urgency Strong professional communication and relationship-building skills Ability to establish credibility with candidates, hourly employees, hiring managers, operations leaders, and HR professionals Ability to work onsite approximately two to three days per week, with flexibility based on interviews, hiring events, and business needs Ability to travel occasionally between nearby Chicagoland manufacturing facilities Preferred Qualifications Recruiting experience within food or beverage manufacturing Experience recruiting for multiple shifts within a large manufacturing or industrial environment Experience recruiting within a unionized manufacturing or distribution environment Experience planning or participating in high-volume hiring events and job fairs Established relationships with community organizations, workforce development programs, or local candidate referral sources Experience recruiting bilingual hourly employees within manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial operations Experience supporting a facility expansion, production launch, or rapid workforce buildout Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong full-cycle recruiting and candidate sourcing capabilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills Ability to build productive relationships with hiring managers and candidates Ability to manage high-volume recruiting activity without sacrificing accuracy or candidate experience Strong sense of urgency, accountability, and follow-through Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with HR and operational leadership Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities Ability to analyze recruiting activity and identify opportunities to improve hiring results High level of professionalism, integrity, discretion, and confidentiality Why Consider This Opportunity?
