About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Finance & Accounting to take on a senior leadership role with a focus on the integrity, timeliness, and business value of financial and accounting operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities across the company's funds, properties, and corporate entities. This includes leading the accounting and finance functions, managing month-end and other close cycles, budgeting, capital expenditure planning, and ensuring reliable financial reporting and analysis. The role demands a strategic and operational partner who can connect financial information to business decisions and is comfortable with both detailed calculations and executive recommendations. The VP will also be involved in treasury and liquidity management, audit and tax coordination, and will be expected to drive continuous process improvement and automation within the finance and accounting areas. Applicants for the VP, Finance & Accounting position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a CPA and an advanced degree. A minimum of 10 years' of progressive finance and accounting experience, including at least 4 years' in a leadership role, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in private real estate funds, private equity, or similar investment structures, and a proven track record in financial management, including fund accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting. Proficiency in financial modeling, and executive presentation skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial matters clearly are essential. The role also requires a hands-on, detail-oriented approach, a constructive mindset, and a continuous improvement orientation. Experience with BI tools, data visualization, and responsible AI-enabled workflows is a plus, as is a background in real estate, short-term rental, hospitality, or securities/fund management.
