About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP of Finance to lead its financial planning, analysis, and strategic finance functions. This high-visibility leadership role is pivotal in a boutique financial services firm that specializes in sophisticated capital and advisory solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the FP&A function, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning, and will be expected to develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making. The role also involves analyzing financial performance, preparing management reports, and partnering with senior leadership on strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FP&A, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to operate independently in a lean, entrepreneurial environment. Applicants for the VP of Finance position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and have at least 8 years' of progressive finance experience, with a focus on FP&A. A background in investment banking, financial services, private equity, or related fields is highly valued. The role requires a professional with strong financial modeling and analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to provide strategic financial insight. The VP of Finance will also be responsible for managing and developing finance team members, so leadership and mentoring experience is a plus.
