Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Atlanta, GA | 100% Onsite

We are conducting an immediate search for an experienced Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide executive financial leadership for a well-established Atlanta-based organization.

This role requires a hands-on, operational CFO who can quickly assess the business, partner with executive leadership, and provide both strategic direction and day-to-day financial oversight during a period of transition and continued growth.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate has served as the lead finance executive within a mid-sized organization and brings a track record of successfully partnering with CEOs, executive teams, and Boards of Directors.

The ideal candidate will offer experience in:

• Enterprise-wide financial leadership and strategic planning
• Budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management
• Treasury, banking relationships, cash management, and liquidity planning
• Risk management, compliance, and audit oversight
• Capital planning and support of large-scale growth, expansion, or construction initiatives
• Technology evaluation, ERP implementation, and finance systems optimization
• Building scalable financial processes and improving operational efficiency
• Leading and developing accounting and finance teams

Background

• Previous experience as a Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Finance, or Senior Finance Executive required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; MBA a plus
• Experience within a mid-sized, multi-department organization with complex operations required
• CPA strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to balance strategic leadership with day-to-day operational execution
• Proven success navigating organizational change, transformation, or transition periods
