Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This role involves identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with prospective and existing clients, and managing the full sales cycle from initial outreach to contract negotiation and closing. The Business Development Manager will collaborate with internal marketing and creative teams to develop tailored proposals and presentations, participate in client meetings and pitch sessions, and provide regular reporting on pipeline activity and revenue forecasts. Day-to-day tasks also include market research, competitive analysis, and the creation of strategic plans to expand the agency’s presence in target industries and regions. Qualifications Business development, sales, or account management experience in marketing, advertising, or related industries. Strong skills in prospecting, lead generation, and relationship-building with diverse client organizations. Ability to develop proposals, deliver client presentations, and negotiate contracts and pricing. Experience conducting market research and using data to identify growth opportunities and refine strategies. Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams. Strong organizational and time-management abilities, including managing multiple deals and priorities. Comfort working in a start-up environment, with adaptability, initiative, and a focus on measurable outcomes. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Proficiency with CRM tools and common productivity software (e.g., "email, spreadsheets, presentation tools").
