GTM Recruiting @ Clay Clay is transforming how companies approach their go‑to‑market goals, and we need a recruiting leader who will transform how we build our own GTM teams. In this role you’ll drive global recruiting efforts across Sales, Customer Experience, and Marketing, bring deep expertise in high‑volume recruiting, and help revolutionize how sales and other GTM teams are built. This is a pivotal year for Clay. You’ll lead aggressive hiring initiatives across our SF, NYC, and London offices, establishing recruiting systems and processes that will define our growth trajectory for years to come. What You’ll Do Manage and mentor a team of recruiters and coordinators and continue to build out our GTM recruiting team for the growth ahead. Lead high‑volume recruiting strategy for GTM roles at all levels—think roles like SDR, AE, AM, CSM, Solutions Engineering—and be involved in headcount planning discussions. Establish and track recruiting metrics that will help us reach our goals and become a more disciplined recruiting function. Collaborate with leadership on strategic aspects of recruiting. Success in this role isn’t just about filling requisitions, but also about quality of hire and designing effective interview processes. Carry your own requisition load—likely personally take on GTM leadership roles and other high‑priority roles. Ensure a delightful candidate experience, from the first conversation through each of our candidates’ first day at Clay. What You’ll Bring 6+ years of experience in recruiting and 4+ years as a people manager, with time at high‑growth SaaS startups focused on sales and GTM recruiting. Experience using data to drive recruiting strategy. Effective communication skills, both written and spoken. Excellent interviewing ability, with an eye for talent that thrives in a fast‑paced, dynamic startup. Prioritization of candidate experience and prior experience shaping that in previous roles. Based in NYC and excited about an in‑person office environment (4‑5 days per week). Will be part of shaping a vibrant and creative culture as Clay grows.
