Work Environment

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at our Rehabilitation Center in Kissimmee, you will work in a supportive, patient-centered environment that emphasizes teamwork and collaboration. The center operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule while serving our community.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their individual goals and specific physical needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on assessments, utilizing a wide range of therapeutic techniques to enhance mobility and functionality.
• Employ evidence-based practices to provide effective, cost-conscious therapies that reduce dependence on medications and prevent the need for unnecessary surgical interventions.
• Instruct patients in rehabilitation exercises, ensuring accurate technique to optimize recovery outcomes and promote safety.
• Design and recommend fitness and wellness programs tailored to each patient's specific requirements, facilitating ongoing health improvements beyond rehabilitation.
• Deliver compassionate, one-on-one care that focuses on patient engagement and actively encourages healthy lifestyle choices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse population of patients dealing with a variety of orthopedic injuries and conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate or Master's degree is preferred.
• Possession of an active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist is essential, ensuring adherence to regulatory and ethical standards.
• A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in physical therapy, with a focus on managing and treating orthopedic conditions, is required.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary range of $90,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
