Position Summary

The Vehicle Service Agent is responsible for servicing and inspecting rental vehicles for customer use, transporting vehicles from the service area to customer pick-up, maintaining gas logs, and keeping the work area clean.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and service rental vehicles for customer use
• Review the inspection checklist to ensure vehicles are properly prepared
• Transport customers to and from the rental center as required
• Deliver vehicles to appropriate locations as directed
• Maintain the service area, equipment, tools, and cleaning supplies
• Maintain gas logs and other logs as requested by management
• Inspect and park cars as directed
• Perform related duties as required or assigned

Qualifications

Required

• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory motor vehicle report
• Must be at least 21 years old or have held a driver's license for 3 years
• Reliable transportation
• Excellent attention to detail
• Able to work all required shifts
• Willing to work outside in nearly all weather conditions
• Strong time management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner
• High school diploma or equivalent

Management Responsibilities

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. This position reports to the Service Supervisor and Location Manager.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Extensive physical activity when cleaning and servicing vehicles
• Twisting, bending, walking, getting in and out of vehicles, driving, and inspecting vehicles
• Prolonged periods of servicing and cleaning vehicles, lifting cleaning equipment, and using cleaning products
