Talent Manager

Client Overview: Our client is a global fashion and retail brand seeking a Talent Manager to support retail recruitment across North America. This position is based in New York City and will focus primarily on recruiting Store Managers and retail staff. The role begins as a 2 - 3 month temporary assignment with the potential to transition into a permanent position. Salary/Hourly Rate: $40/hr - $50/hr $100k - $120k Annually if converted to permanent Position Overview: The Talent Manager will manage full-cycle recruitment for retail positions across North America, with a strong focus on hiring Store Managers. The ideal candidate will have high-volume retail recruiting experience, strong Excel skills, and experience developing talent-related projects, procedures, and templates. This role is based in NYC, requires onsite work three days per week, and includes travel to stores in other states as needed. Responsibilities of the Talent Manager: Manage full-cycle recruitment for Store Managers and retail staff across North America. Recruit and source high-volume retail talent, primarily for Store Manager positions. Manage a requisition load of approximately 80 positions. Partner with internal teams and hiring managers to understand staffing needs. Support recruitment initiatives, talent projects, procedures, and templates. Utilize Excel to track and manage recruiting data and processes. Travel out of state to retail locations across the United States as needed. Required Experience/Skills for the Talent Manager: High-volume recruitment experience. Experience recruiting across North America, including Canada. Strong Excel skills. Experience creating or improving talent projects, procedures, and templates. Self-starter with the ability to independently manage projects and priorities. Comfortable with approximately 20% travel. Preferred Experience/Skills for the Talent Manager: Experience using SAP ATS. At least 5+ years of retail recruitment experience. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Strong ability to multitask and manage competing priorities. Clear, strong, and professional communication style. Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant recruiting experience may be considered.
