We develop, own, and manage multi-family supportive housing and licensed residential care homes. While we are growing rapidly, we are also selective: We're seeking inspired, talented people who want to be effecting profound change and who have fun doing it.Position Summary The Accounting Manager Ap/Ar is an integral part of our growing Finance team and will report to the Controller. This position will have primary responsibility for managing accounts payable and accounts receivable and supervising a team of Accounting Supervisors. This position will have responsibility for all aspects of the accounts payable and accounts receivable accounting cycles and is the primary accounting liaison for multiple departments, co-managing monthly closings and supervising accounting staff. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, a problem-solver, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain the accounting systems, policies and proceduresManage accounts receivable, accounts payable, rent roll and supervise accounting staffManage 1099s, unclaimed property, subledger aging and bad debtWork with accounting team to assist with month end close cycle, journal entry approvals, and property accountingApprove bank transactions including payments and transfersAnalyze and monitor cash flow for several bank accounts and perform cash balance projectionsField auditing, reporting and budgeting questions from our internal and external stakeholdersManage and review audit assignments from our government agency and auditing firmAct as liaison with outside auditors and government agencies on contract issuesManage and perform other various accounting activitiesOther duties to be assigned
