Baker's Field Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Physical Therapist to join our orthopedic outpatient team in Fresno, California. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with patients to help them regain mobility and improve their overall function. You will be responsible for assessing individual needs, developing tailored rehabilitation programs, and implementing treatment strategies that align with our commitment to enhancing patient quality of life.

Baker's Field Therapy Services is a premier orthopedic outpatient practice, known for its high-quality patient care in a state-of-the-art sports medicine facility spanning 5000 square feet. We pride ourselves on our personalized approach to rehabilitation, focusing on understanding each patient's unique circumstances and goals. Our team consists of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), all dedicated to providing comprehensive care, particularly to patients with private medical insurance.

Work Environment

This is an onsite position, allowing for hands-on interaction with patients in a supportive and collaborative environment. You will work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work schedule that accommodates the needs of both patients and staff. The facility is equipped with advanced rehabilitation tools and technologies, providing the optimal setting for delivering effective therapies.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical conditions and articulate their needs and goals effectively.
• Maintain a patient caseload, providing one-on-one therapy sessions tailored to each individual.
• Implement evidence-based treatment interventions and rehabilitative techniques to enhance mobility and functionality.
• Design comprehensive care plans that integrate a variety of therapeutic methods and address each patient's unique rehabilitation needs.
• Motivate patients during their treatment process, fostering an encouraging environment that promotes recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to devise holistic care strategies that encompass multiple aspects of patient health.
• Document all aspects of patient care, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Advocate for and implement preventative strategies that reduce the need for medications and surgical interventions.

Our patient demographic primarily consists of individuals who seek care for orthopedic conditions such as injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapist license in California, with no history of board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Exceptional manual therapy skills and a strong foundation in therapeutic exercises.
• Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) software, including WebPT, to manage patient documentation efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating a successful track record of patient outcomes.
• Ability to customize fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient requirements.
• Strong communication skills that foster positive patient relationships and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
