Work Environment

This position is based primarily in our onsite rehabilitation center in Fresno, where you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers. You will enjoy a structured work schedule, from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic while dedicating your expertise to helping patients overcome their physical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' orthopedic conditions through comprehensive examinations.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with the individual needs and goals of each patient.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to foster patient recovery.
• Maintain a manageable patient caseload, ensuring that you have adequate time to dedicate to each individual, enhancing the quality of care.
• Educate patients on non-surgical rehabilitation options, advocating for methods that minimize the use of medications.
• Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment interventions accurately using EMR software, particularly Web PT, to maintain precise records.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process, providing support that fosters a positive recovery environment.
• Engage in regular team meetings to collaborate with other healthcare professionals, enhancing coordinated care.
• Promote wellness through education on healthy lifestyles, including strength training, flexibility exercises, and injury prevention methods.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• An active and unblemished Physical Therapist license in California, with no sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques, with a strong understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Exemplary skills in designing and executing successful exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, for effective patient documentation.

Successful candidates will exhibit a strong commitment to ongoing education and professional development in the field of physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable.
• Additional certifications, such as in manual therapy or sports rehabilitation, will be considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

We value the contributions of our employees and offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
