Work Environment

This position is an onsite role located within our dedicated facility in Fresno, California, where you will work collaboratively with a team of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). Our team-oriented atmosphere encourages professional growth and ensures a supportive environment for both practitioners and patients. This role operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to identify individual goals and treatment needs.
• Maintain an effective patient load, with a focus on personalized treatment sessions, averaging one patient per hour.
• Utilize your orthopedic outpatient experience to provide evidence-based treatment and rehabilitation strategies.
• Formulate cost-effective treatment plans aimed at enhancing patients' mobility and functional abilities.
• Promote non-surgical methods to reduce dependency on medication, exploring alternative treatment options.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise therapy, to address specific patient conditions.
• Develop customized fitness and wellness programs designed to meet the unique requirements of each patient.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their therapy journey to achieve their personal health goals.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
• Continuously assess and document treatment progress, maintaining clear communication with patients and healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid Physical Therapist license in California, with no board actions or disciplinary measures on record.
• Strong manual therapy skills, along with the ability to develop effective, individualized exercise regimens.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT or similar platforms.
• A demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development in the field of physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Experience in developing innovative treatment plans based on the latest research and best practices.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $110,000, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
