In this dynamic, contract role, you’ll travel between schools within the district, serving as an invaluable resource for teams identifying and supporting students with unique needs. Key Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapy licensure required
• Experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of Assistive Technology—device selection, student assessment, implementation
• Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable with an itinerant (traveling within district) assignment

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for students requiring Assistive Technology supports and accommodations
• Develop, document, and adjust intervention plans to enhance student learning and participation
• Provide direct and consultative services to students, teachers, and staff on OT and Assistive Technology solutions
• Train staff and families on the effective use of recommended devices and strategies
• Maintain timely and compliant records of evaluations, plans, and services
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, sharing expertise to guide the team’s decisions
