Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including reviewing medical histories and performing specialized assessments, to determine individual treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Engage with patients and their families to explain evaluation findings and collaboratively set achievable goals, ensuring that treatment plans align with their expectations and lifestyle.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols based on evaluation outcomes, the patient's condition, and the latest advancements in healthcare practices, demonstrating versatility and adaptability.
• Maintain open lines of communication with other healthcare providers, consulting as needed to address changes in a patient's condition and adjusting care plans accordingly.
• Document all patient interactions meticulously, including initial evaluations, daily notes, progress summaries, and discharge plans, to maintain clear continuity of care.
• Manage your schedule efficiently to meet productivity expectations while providing flexible, patient-centered care.
• Proactively participate in departmental goals, community outreach, and marketing initiatives to elevate our practice's profile and patient access to care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, pursuing continuing education opportunities and serving as a mentor to student clinicians.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid physical therapy license in the State of New Jersey is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
