Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Associate – Florham Park, NJ Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule Saturday: 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM Sunday: 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and established reporting processes. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, operational areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and/or unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe site activity to help support authorized entry, visitor processing, and adherence to location protocols. Document incidents, observations, and/or maintenance or hazard concerns, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred. Have alarm panel experience preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
