Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Interventionist to provide individualized academic, behavioral, and personal support to students in a school setting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in education, psychology, behavioral health, or special education who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team. Pay starting at $25+/hour.

Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students based on their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Implement behavioral, academic, communication, and social-emotional interventions.
Support students in classroom participation and daily school activities.
Assist with data collection and documentation of student progress.
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other school staff to support student success.
Implement behavior intervention plans and communication strategies.
Provide personal care assistance when needed, including mobility, toileting, and dressing.
Participate in student planning meetings, training, and professional development.
Qualifications
Associate's Degree or at least 60 college credit hours required.
Bachelor's Degree in Education, Psychology, Mental Health, or a related field preferred.
At least 1 year of experience working in a school or similar setting preferred.
Experience working with students with disabilities, behavioral needs, or autism is highly preferred.
Certifications
CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention), CPR, and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain if applicable).
Completion of Interventionist training within six months of employment.
Preferred Skills
Experience implementing behavior intervention strategies.
Knowledge of special education, autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, and communication disorders.
Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
