Work Environment This role is conducted remotely, allowing you to enjoy flexibility while contributing to our mission from the comfort of your home. Despite the remote setting, you will engage regularly with a multidisciplinary team of professionals consisting of psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health specialists to ensure coordinated patient care. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments to determine clients' mood disorder symptom severity, frequency, and duration. Design and implement individualized treatment plans by collaborating closely with clients to align their treatment with their personal goals and preferences. Utilize evidence-based practices in therapy interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide effective treatment for mood disorders. Supply clients and their families with reliable information and resources regarding mood disorders and available treatment options. Track and monitor client progress throughout their treatment journey, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as required. Develop collaborative relationships with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive mental health care. Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorders treatment, integrating this knowledge into your practice. Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, treatment plans, and evaluations in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Engage in regular team meetings, case consultations, and continued professional development activities to advance clinical skills and knowledge. Advocate for the mental health needs of your clients while working to reduce the stigma surrounding mood disorders within the community. Patient Population / Client Focus The primary focus of this position is to support individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will be working with a diverse clientele, including adults from various socio-economic backgrounds, with an emphasis on delivering culturally sensitive care that acknowledges each client’s unique experience and circumstances. Qualifications A Master's or Doctorate degree from a recognized university in fields such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. Essential licensure for practice in the state of Texas, including LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist). A strong understanding of evidence-based treatment methods specific to mood disorders, with proficiency in CBT and DBT. Working knowledge of psychopharmacology and experience collaborating effectively with psychiatrists and healthcare practitioners. A demonstrated history of successful treatment outcomes in managing clients with mood disorders. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, fostering rapport with clients from all walks of life. Preferred Experience Prior experience in a behavioral health or outpatient setting, particularly dealing with mood disorders. Familiarity with telehealth methodologies, as you will be providing services through a remote platform. Previous involvement in advocacy or community outreach programs focused on mental health. Compensation and Benefits The compensation package for this role includes a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
