Work Environment As a remote position, our Licensed Mental Health Therapist will engage with clients through telehealth platforms, allowing for flexible scheduling while maintaining access to essential support services. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of client needs, utilizing clinical evaluations to inform the development of tailored treatment plans. Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques to address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship concerns. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care. Stay current with professional development through workshops and training sessions to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge of emerging treatment modalities. Provide ongoing feedback and insights to optimize patient care strategies and service delivery within the clinic. Patient Population / Client Focus Our therapist will work with a varied clientele, ranging from adults facing significant life transitions to youth dealing with anxiety and stress. Qualifications A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution. An active License (LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT) valid in California. A minimum of two years of professional experience in a mental health setting. Exceptional interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on building trust and rapport with clients. Preferred Experience Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and experience in teletherapy. Experience leading group therapy sessions and workshops. Specialized training in evidenced-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
