Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health challenges and develop personalized treatment plans that target their specific needs. Provide individual therapy sessions utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Set collaborative therapeutic goals with clients and monitor their progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to enhance their mental well-being. Facilitate teletherapy options to accommodate clients who prefer virtual consultations or face transportation barriers, ensuring inclusivity in access to mental health services. This role will involve working closely with clients from different backgrounds, emphasizing cultural competence and sensitivity in your therapeutic approach. Qualifications A valid and current state-issued license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is essential. A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in fields such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster a trusting therapeutic alliance with clients, enabling them to express their thoughts and feelings freely. Ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude to create a supportive environment for clients during therapy sessions. Excellent organizational and time management skills for effective caseload management and timely completion of administrative responsibilities. Preferred Experience Previous experience in a private practice setting or outpatient environment is highly desirable.
