A well-established consumer products company in the Baton Rouge area is seeking a detail-oriented, dependable, and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join its team in a direct-hire position.

What You'll Be Doing:
As the Full Charge Bookkeeper, you'll play a key role in managing the company's day-to-day financial operations. This is a hands-on position offering variety and the opportunity to oversee multiple important accounting functions.
Accounts Payable

• Review invoices for accuracy and consistency
• Ensure supplier invoices are processed and paid in a timely manner
• Process weekly check runs
Accounts Receivable

• Issue invoices to customers
• Process daily credit card, check, and cash receipts
• Prepare daily bank deposits
• Follow up on overdue invoices and conduct collection calls as needed
Payroll & Benefits

• Organize and manage employee benefit elections
• Process biweekly payroll through ADP Payroll Plus
Financial Reporting & General Accounting

• Prepare monthly sales tax reports and ensure timely payments
• Reconcile all bank accounts monthly
• Perform periodic account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
• Prepare and issue financial statements
• Complete monthly inventory and debt reconciliations

What We're Looking For:
We're looking for an experienced accounting professional who is organized, dependable, and takes pride in maintaining accurate financial records.

Qualifications:
4-5 years of Full Charge Bookkeeping experience
Strong experience with QuickBooks
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple accounting responsibilities and meet deadlines
