Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Gig Harbor, WA region. With a 37.5 hour work week and a manageable caseload of approximately 50 students, you can apply your expertise where it counts most.

The assignment is set to begin on August 24, 2026, to allow for pre-service training prior to the first day of school on August 31, 2026. The anticipated end date is June 16, 2027, with the possibility of extending to June 23, 2027, depending on snow make-up days. Pay ranges from $50 to $65 an hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Key Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Valid Washington State SLP license (or eligibility to obtain before the start date)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates considered
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Previous experience in school-based settings is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for a varied caseload
• Provide direct therapy services and consult with educators and families
• Maintain IEP documentation and participate in meetings as required
• Utilize a variety of service delivery models to best support students' needs
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote student success
