HR Generalist

Job Title:HR Generalist We, at Leggett & Platt Flooring Products, are searching for a Human Resources Generalist for our Fort Worth, Texas location, employing approximately 90 employees. Our Flooring businesses manufacture and distribute foam, rubber, and fiber-based flooring underlayment for residential and commercial use. Our flooring underlayment products provide support, cushioning, and noise reduction under virtually any finished flooring material in your home or business. If you join our team, your work will ensure people across the world have a little more comfort in their lives. So, what will you be doing as an HR Generalist? Coordinate recruiting, advertising, and hiring processes for incoming talent Support the administration of the branch Affiniative Action plan Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding activities Maintain relationships with temporary staffing agencies and assist with workforce needs Partner with branch management to promote consistent application of company policies Support training initiatives and performance management processes Create and sustain employee development programs Assist with the administration of employee benefit programs Support FMLA and Disability processes and assist with Workers’ Compensation coordination alongside the Safety Manager Provide guidance and support to management and employees regarding employee relations matters Assist in coordinating employee engagement activities and communications Prepare separation paperwork, conduct exit interviews, and track turnover trends Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and applicable employment laws and reporting requirements Perform other duties as assigned To be successful in this role, you’ll need: Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years experience preferred or 5+ year experience in HRM in place of degree Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Experience in a manufacturing or construction environment Working knowledge of HR laws and regulations Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Things we consider a plus: Bachelor’s degree in HR or related area SHRM or PHR certification Manufacturing experience Our Values Our values speak to our shared beliefs and describe how we approach working together.
