Accounts Payable Manager Location: Chino Hills, CA Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year (DOE) Work Hours: Monday - Friday; 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Accounts Payable Manager to lead the accounts payable function in a rapidly growing, private equity‑backed service organization. The role focuses on process improvement, automation, acquisition integration, and scalable financial operations. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all aspects of the accounts payable function, including invoice processing, payment execution, vendor management, and month‑end close support. Supervise, mentor, and develop AP staff to foster accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and corporate card transactions. Optimize AP workflows within NetSuite and Ramp, identifying opportunities for automation and standardization. Support the integration of acquired businesses, onboarding vendors, consolidating payment processes, and aligning controls across entities. Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Procurement, Operations, and M&A teams to support growth strategy and acquisition initiatives. Collaborate with finance leadership to establish scalable AP processes for a multi‑entity environment. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash‑flow planning via Planful. Monitor cash disbursements and payment schedules to optimize working capital. Develop, document, and enforce internal controls, policies, and procedures for compliance and risk mitigation. Utilize LastPass and approved security tools to support cybersecurity and access management protocols. Prepare schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for audits, lender reporting, and private‑equity ownership requirements. Drive process‑improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, and improve AP visibility. Qualifications Strong experience in accounts payable operations using NetSuite. Hands‑on experience with Ramp expense management and corporate card administration. Familiarity with LastPass or comparable password and access‑management solutions. Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and AP best practices. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and analytical capabilities. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Preferred 5+ years of progressive AP experience, including at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role. Experience within a private equity‑backed, high‑growth, or acquisitive organization. Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and post‑acquisition integrations. Experience with Planful or similar budgeting and forecasting platforms. Experience working in a multi‑entity or multi‑location environment. Background in service‑based, professional services, field services, or recurring‑revenue businesses. Experience implementing AP automation and workflow optimization initiatives. CPA, CMA, or other accounting certification is a plus. What Success Looks Like AP processes are efficient, scalable, and support continued acquisition‑driven growth. Vendor payments are accurate, timely, and well‑controlled. Newly acquired businesses are integrated smoothly into financial operations. AP metrics, reporting, and controls provide visibility and confidence to executive leadership and private‑equity stakeholders.
